Compact hourglass-shaped forged aluminium carabiner with Twin-Gate system and captive wire.
The Grivel Clepsydra S - K10GS Twin Gate is a belay carabiner. It is made of forged aluminum and features a curved finger opening with a wire finger guard (this is the Twin Gate closure) that prevents the carabiner from being opened accidentally.
The lower part, which comes into contact with the trigger guard, also has a wire finger designed to prevent the carabiner from turning during belaying. The upper part, on the other hand, is designed to allow the rope to slide over it more easily and to reduce wear on the carabiner.
