Sealing the rope ends

Materials such as Aramid, Vectran and Dyneema cannot be melted together. Bonding with instant adhesive is therefore by far the best option.

After extensive testing, ZAP CA thin has proven to be by far the best solution.

Procedure:

 1. Wrap tape around the rope where you want to cut it.
2. Cut through the middle of the tape with a sharp knife.
3. Apply 3-5 drops of glue to the rope core.
4. Wait 5-10 seconds and you’re done.

Caution: The glue is very liquid!
