Recommendation for rope marking
In order to increase safety in canyoning, the FIC ( Federation for International Canyoning) consulted canyoneers from eleven countries, to find out the coding used to mark the middle and the length of the rope.
The result is the following proposal (already widely used, but unknown by some).
