This canyoneering rope bag is purpose-built to accommodate Rich Carlson’s new RAVEN device. It features a dedicated interior pocket that houses a removable flotation pad alongside ample space for storing the RAVEN or other toggle-style descent devices safely within the bag.
A note on the image: The RAVEN is shown attached to the exterior daisy chain solely for size comparison purposes. The daisy chain is not designed or intended for carrying or storing the RAVEN during use. The device should always be stored inside the dedicated interior pocket, where it stays protected and secure during transport and descents.
Description
A canyon rope bag designed to accommodate Rich Carlson’s new RAVEN device. The Gear Perspective Micro 30 is an ultralight, tear-resistant rope bag. With a maximum capacity of about 2.5L, it will hold 30 meters of CE4Y Slickline 6.0 or other supple 6mm rope. Suitable for Class C conditions, it has an interior pocket with a removable flotation pad and room for a fiddle stick or other toggle device. There are two grommets in the bottom, allowing for an exterior loop of rope if desired.
It’s crafted using UltraGrid™ from Challenge Sailcloth, a premium technical fabric that promises unmatched durability and performance relative to its weight. UltraGrid is made of recycled nylon and a double grid of UHMWPE fibers for exceptional tear strength.
