HANDY - stainless steel braking carabiner
This quick draw in 304 stainless steel is to be used with figure-eight descenders or the type used for caving (with pulley), on single rope.
The important specification of this patent carabiner is that it makes it possible to regulate the descent by simply adjusting the set up of the rope being inserted in the tool, eliminating nearly all the force of friction towards the bottom.
To make the tool more versatile it is supplied with a parallel twisted ring made of stainless steel wire diameter 5 mm that will be wedged into the semicircular maillon rapide of the harness.
This small ring makes the carabiner more operational and suitable for all descending speeds using all types of rope.
Lightweight and compact, does not ruin the rope at all.
