Overview

Climbing Technology (CT) Ice Hook

CT Climbing Technology Ice Hook quickdraw for ice screws, ideal for simplifying insertion and extraction maneuvers.

It allows for incorporation with the ice screw, which becomes ready for rope introduction after a few turns of screwing.

The ring that supports the strap is free to move along the screw, minimizing the lever effect that would occur in case of a fall.

This quickdraw is compatible with all ice screws with a maximum diameter of 20 mm.

Main characteristics:

allows connection between quick draw and ice screw, for securing the rope, just after a short insertion in to the ice;
makes it simpler to wind-in the ice screw and prevents it dropping during extraction;
the loop that supports the sling can move freely along the screw, minimizing the force generated onto the screw in case of a bad fall;
available lengths: 17 cm & 22 cm;
can fit onto any ice screw having a maximum diameter of 20 mm.
