Canyoning Indian Himalayas
SKU: MECCS3 OverviewCanyoning Indian Himalayas
MECCs topobook about canyoning in the Indian Himalayas, is finally here.
Language: English
Created by: Les MECC’s
The book documents the canyons explored and descended during multiple expeditions. Specifically in the Kullu, Kinnaur, Chamoli, Chamba and Uttarkashi districts. In total 70 canyons are described in detail, complete with maps, coordinates, photographs, drawings of the canyons, and QR codes linking to tracks.

For each region, we have also identified unexplored potential projects for future adventures.
A total of 55 unexplored projects are included, each with QR codes linking to their precise pinpoints.
Canyoning in these regions is a completely new and pioneering sport. Descending these remote canyons requires the right knowledge, a well-prepared team, and proper equipment.
The book is more then just a topobook, it also tells our stories, adventures and experiences in those remote regions. It's not only a book for canyoneers, but also those who follow(ed) us and are just interested in those adventures.
Please respect local traditions, customs, culture, and the natural environment.
