The Workhorse Screwgate carabiner is the strongest Mammut carabiner and one of the most robust models on the market. Its size allows for user-friendly operation, even when wearing gloves. The opening width and volume are large enough to accommodate multiple ropes, loops, and knots. It is ideal for use as a central carabiner for anchoring, as it is exceptionally robust and durable. The screw lock is easy to operate, even in icy or dirty environments. The keyhole nose allows for easier engagement and disengagement without snagging. An orange indicator indicates when the carabiner is not closed.
