The canyons of Central Italy, from Perugia to Salerno and Sardinia; preceded by 32 pages of techniques. 164p: numerous pictures, simple pictorgrams; 24 cm.
40 canyons in central Italy are described in this full-color book, in Italian. The canyons are located in the following regions:
Marche (Ancona), Umbria (Pérouge), Abruzzo (Pescara-Chieti-L'Aquila), Lazio (Rome), Molise (Isernia), Campania (Napoli) as well as 3 courses in Sardinia .
Each canyon is the subject of a sheet including the description of the technical characteristics (difference in level, length, altitudes, ideal period, travel time, aquatic character, commitment, shuttle distance, quality of equipment). A general presentation, a description of the accesses and the descent complete a precise site plan. The interest and the overall technical level of each descent is specified. A summary table of the canyons with their main characteristics makes it possible to quickly select the routes adapted to the conditions.
