With the FireSteel Scout it's easy and quick to make fire. If you stroke a metal strip or a knife over the magnesium swab, a shower of sparks of 3000 degrees Celsius will set some wood powder or cotton aflame. Of course you can also quickly ignite a gas burner or barbecue with the FireSteel Scout. And unlike matches or a lighter, they are not at all impressed or bothered by water.
This lighter execution can be used about 3,000 times. The scraper is equipped with an emergency whistle.
