Designed for the removal of synthetic cords and fabrics. This rope cutter (heatcutter, heatgun) cuts the ropes nice and straight off and melt together the end pretty close. In traditional methods (knife, scissors) there is always a risk of a light sliding of the core and shell relative to each other.
The cord cutter warms up in 5 to 8 seconds, and reaches a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius.
