 These devices patented in 2005 a revolution to weigh out with the use of the pulleys. The Omni-blocks combine a pulley with an anti-torque switching and provides a great advantage. The Omni-blocks replace the traditional pulley, carabiner and anti-torque control and is lighter, cheaper and saves precious altitude. You can also pick up the rope and the pulley while the pulley is stuck in the system. Although the standard Omni-block is sufficient for most users, there are also specialized versions available.
